How does it work?
Winshuttle Workflow executes processes and workflows created in Winshuttle Designer. Workflow also supports building the governance, control and reporting capabilities that modern businesses requires for efficient operational excellence.
Standard Edition
The Standard Edition integrates seamlessly with SharePoint document libraries to extend document life-cycle support, change management, and change control capabilities.
Enterprise Edition
The Enterprise Edition extends SharePoint workflow with easily configurable Web-based forms that allow each node in the workflow to be associated with a custom form view. The forms and views are defined using Microsoft's InfoPath product; once published to the SharePoint server, they become Web-based forms, allowing all workflow participants to interact through a basic Web browser.

How is Winshuttle Workflow different from other workflow and BPM tools?
Typically, at least three technology layers need to be altered in order for a given business process to be changed: user interface layer, process/logic layer, and data layer. Allowing business users to connect all three layers without programming is a unique strength of Winshuttle Workflow that is not matched by other workflow and BMP tools.
User Interface (UI): The user interface layer usually requires the most changes in any given process. Most BPM and workflow solutions provide some UI tools to allow business users to create new process UIs. Winshuttle Workflow makes this task exceptionally simple by leveraging Microsoft Office for authoring both Web-based and Excel-based UIs.
Process/Logic: The process/logic layer typically involves less frequent changes than the UI, but still changes very often. Allowing business users to graphically author and change process flows is the core of most BPM and workflow tools. Winshuttle Workflow's third-generation process modeling tool is integrated with the UI authoring, adding efficiency and reliability.
Data: The data layer undergoes the least frequent changes among the three layers. It is the lifeline between a process engine and the system of record. Unlike other workflow and BMP tools, Winshuttle Workflow allows business users to connect the UI and process/logic layers to the data layer without any programming, allowing for the most user-friendly and efficient integration available in the market today.
